Announcing the third annual “Tee Up For Justice” Golfathon, benefitting Trinity Legal and their mission to answer God’s call to seek justice and mercy by providing legal services to the poor and needy. This may sound crazy (and you may think we’re nuts) but WE NEED YOU to smash 100 golf balls with us on October 15, 2023 at Topgolf. With nominal participation from 25 or more volunteers, we can raise $50,000 or more in the next several weeks to support the mission of Trinity Legal.
We have made a commitment to seek justice for our neighbors in poverty, and now WE NEED YOU. Right now we are putting together our Trinity Legal Golfathon Team and we want you on it. We’re inviting you to participate in a KEY volunteer position. Each volunteer has a very limited, yet well defined, responsibility.
We promise, this won’t take much of your time. We need volunteers who will commit to following the instructions of this proven fundraising program to support our work and provide an advocate to those who would otherwise be without a voice in the face of injustice and oppression. You may even win some great prizes!
You can be a Trinity Legal ‘Tee Up for Justice’ Golfathon Participant. Here’s what you commit to:
- Sign up to play on Sunday, October 15 at 3:00 pm (Dinner included) at Topgolf (OKC). You’ll be on a team of 4 people in your own climate-controlled bay, and you will all smash 100 golf balls in 2 hours. It’s lots of fun even for non-golfers!
- Sponsor yourself for at least $100, but please consider more as some people will match your pledge.
- Give your ultimate effort to raise a minimum $2,500 (Veterans) or $1,000 (Rookie option) from your spheres of influence. This is easy as people will want to support you in your commitment to help Trinity Legal support those without access to legal services. This can be done in about 5 total hours and we will show you how.
We’re also looking for 6 Champions to serve as Team Captains to accomplish the above 1 – 2 – 3 and put together a team of four fundraisers (including yourself).
People give to People. All you have to do is ASK for help in this all-out endeavor for Trinity Legal, and our experience shows that about 8 of 10 people you ask will make a pledge to you to support the cause.

Frequently asked questions
What if I don’t golf? No problem! Topgolf is fantastic and fun for beginners.
What if I can’t golf or be there on October 15? Again, no problem! Simply be a Non-Golfing Participant and follow the same plan, then you or we will get a proxy golfer to smash golf balls for you (let us know!).
How is this organized? This is a super, well-organized and fun campaign. The Trinity Legal ‘Tee Up for Justice’ Golfathon website is the key to our success. Once you register, you will receive your own personal login for the Golfathon website. You ask for sponsors, then you enter your sponsor’s pledge information on the website. You don’t have to collect any money. Just get pledges from those you know (your friends, family, neighbors, associates, etc.) and the site will send them a big thank you email letter with details for paying their pledge and then, once paid, a receipt for their tax-deductible donation.

How Do I Sign Up?
This is the easy part. Just fill out the registration form, or give us a call, and we will provide any information you need. Or simply send your check for $100 payable to Trinity Legal Tee Up for Justice, along with your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email) and we will send you your Participant’s packet containing all the details and information.
